Businessman Olakunle Churchill has responded to social media criticism over his Mother’s Day post, which honored only his mother while omitting mention of his wife, Rosy Meurer, and his former partner, Tonto Dikeh. According to Ireporter Online, the matter drew attention after many Nigerians, including public figures, used Sunday, March 15, 2026, to celebrate mothers, wives, and daughters for their roles in family and society.

Churchill’s decision sparked online discussion, with some users questioning why both women were not acknowledged. The debate reignited speculation about the state of his marriage to Meurer, especially following his recent reunion with Dikeh, which had attracted public attention through photos and videos.

A social media user identified as @victory_onyibliss asked Churchill directly why he did not recognize both women in his message. In reply, Churchill chose not to elaborate, instead saying, “help me celebrate them,” leaving the interpretation to his followers.
