According to Ireporter Online, popular content creator Untouchable Comedies has raised alarm over a fire incident that occurred at his residence in the early hours of the morning, which he linked to a power bank explosion.

The skit maker took to his social media page to share details of the incident, revealing that the fire broke out around 5 a.m. and resulted in damage to part of his furniture. In a video he posted, he displayed a chair that was severely burnt, allegedly caused by the power bank.

He used the opportunity to caution the public on the safe handling of portable charging devices, stressing the importance of not placing power banks too close to the body or sleeping area while charging or in use. According to him, the incident could have been worse if not for what he described as divine intervention.

In his words, he urged users to remain vigilant, noting that many people underestimate the risks associated with improper use of power banks. He further advised that such devices should be kept at a safe distance during sleep to prevent potential fire outbreaks.
