Court Postpones Assault Case Against Odumodublvck To April 8
The FCT High Court in Life Camp, Abuja, has adjourned the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, in a civil suit alleging assault and battery until April 8, 2026.
The case, filed by fellow musician Kraziecent, whose real name is Ogbogiri Okey Levi, stems from an incident in December 2024. Both parties’ legal representatives—Uchenna Ojembe for the claimant and Taiwo Akinsulie for the defence—were present during the resumed court session.
However, proceedings were halted due to ongoing renovation work in the courtroom, prompting an adjournment. A new trial date was subsequently agreed upon by both sides.
In the suit, Kraziecent claims that Odumodublvck physically attacked him at a public event while he was taking photos and recording videos. The claimant alleges the assault was unprovoked, causing him emotional distress and damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The musician is seeking compensation for medical expenses and is demanding ₦2 billion in damages. Kraziecent is also requesting that Odumodublvck issue a public apology via all his social media accounts and publish apologies in two national newspapers, among other reliefs.
According to Ireporter Online, the trial will resume on the newly scheduled date, as both parties prepare to present their cases.
