Davido Reveals His Biggest Fear In Music Career

According to Ireporter Online, the singer made the revelation during a video broadcast, where he discussed the challenges that come with fame and maintaining relevance over time.

Davido explained that he is often concerned when he sees successful personalities who once enjoyed global recognition gradually lose their influence and public attention. He noted that witnessing the rise and decline of prominent figures has made him reflect deeply on the importance of knowing when to move on.

The award-winning musician further revealed that he would love to establish a therapy centre aimed at helping celebrities who struggle after losing fame, stressing that the transition from being celebrated worldwide to living away from the spotlight can be emotionally difficult.

“If there is one thing I could build, I would build a therapy centre for people who were popular and very successful because it is crazy to be on top of the world and the next moment you are not,” Davido said.

He added that even accomplished athletes and entertainers can face criticism despite their achievements, using football legend Cristiano Ronaldo as an example of how public figures can still be judged after reaching remarkable heights.

Davido stated that his biggest fear is working hard to build a legacy and eventually damaging it through poor decisions. He added that he constantly prays for wisdom to recognise the right moment to step away from music while preserving his achievements.

“I have worked so hard for me to come and spoil it with something. I pray to God every day to show me the right time to pack it up,” he said.
