DeeOne Reveals Veekee James Was His Ex, Describes Her As Controlling

Nigerian comedian and reality TV personality Aderombi Adedayo, popularly known as DeeOne, has confirmed that fashion designer Veekee James was once his girlfriend. The revelation came after Veekee James made comments about DeeOne, describing him as someone who cannot be taken seriously during a podcast with VJ Adams.

Reacting to her remarks, DeeOne shared a video on Instagram, clarifying that their relationship is in the past and that he has moved on. He urged fans not to take celebrity disagreements personally and offered insight into their former relationship, which occurred shortly after his participation in Big Brother Naija in 2018.

DeeOne explained that while he has no bad blood with Veekee, he does not like being controlled in relationships and felt that some of her requests exceeded what he considered reasonable for a partner. Despite the disagreements, he expressed goodwill toward Veekee and her husband, stressing that he harbors no ill feelings.
