Delta Police Commissioner Presents ₦47 Million To Families Of Fallen Officers

Delta State Commissioner of Police, Abaniwonda Olufemi, has presented cheques totaling ₦47,827,529 to the families of 22 police officers who lost their lives in service. This gesture, carried out on behalf of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, aims to provide financial support to alleviate the hardships faced by the bereaved families.

Commissioner Olufemi emphasized the commitment of the IGP to the welfare of both active and fallen officers, highlighting the significance of honoring the sacrifices made by these officers. He assured that the force and the nation will never forget their courage and dedication.

The presentation ceremony, marked by emotional responses from the beneficiaries, underscored the gratitude felt by the families for the support received.
