ireporteronline reports that the devastating events began when Namadi’s mother passed away due to illness, followed by the tragic death of his son in a car accident less than 24 hours later.

In a heartfelt show of support, Gombe State Governor and Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, Muhammadu Yahaya, led a delegation to Kafin Hausa in Jigawa to offer condolences to Namadi. Governor Yahaya, who had been present at Fatiha’s wedding just a week earlier, expressed his deep sympathy and solidarity with his Jigawa counterpart.

In his remarks, Governor Namadi thanked Yahaya for his unwavering support, saying, “Just a week ago, you were with us at my daughter’s wedding, and today you are here to share in our sorrow. This demonstrates your genuine care for us and your exceptional leadership. We can’t thank you enough.”

Governor Yahaya, offering words of comfort, reminded Namadi of the Islamic belief in God’s will, saying, “What Allah gives belongs to Him, and what He takes, He takes according to His divine plan. As Muslims, we believe in the wisdom of Allah’s decisions, and we must remain steadfast in His will.”

He continued, “On behalf of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and the people of Gombe State, I extend my deepest condolences. May Allah forgive their souls and grant them eternal peace in Aljannat Firdaus.”
