DICON-D7G Signals Major Defence Partnerships Push Ahead Of 2026

The pledge was contained in an end-of-year message issued by the Chief Executive Officer of DICON-D7G, Mr. Osman Chennar, where the corporation reviewed its activities over the outgoing year and outlined its strategic priorities for the coming year and beyond.

Chennar expressed appreciation to stakeholders, partners and members of the public for their continued confidence and cooperation, describing the year as a significant period in the organisation’s drive toward national security and sustainable development.

He reaffirmed DICON-D7G’s alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that the policy direction has continued to provide purposeful leadership, strengthen national resilience and drive strategic transformation across key sectors of the economy.

Looking ahead to 2026, the DICON-D7G chief executive said the organisation would approach the new year with renewed confidence and determination, exploring fresh opportunities to boost innovation, deepen partnerships and deliver robust defence solutions.

He added that DICON-D7G would sustain close collaboration with relevant government agencies, private sector stakeholders and international partners to protect national interests and contribute meaningfully to a safer and stronger Nigeria.

Chennar further assured the Federal Government, stakeholders and the general public that 2026 would usher in impactful growth, strategic expansion and purposeful engagement within the defence and security ecosystem, stressing that the corporation remains committed to building trust, enhancing capacity and promoting initiatives that support peace, security and sustainable national development.
