The ongoing child custody dispute between Nigerian music star Davido, born David Adeleke, and Sophia Momodu escalated dramatically after the singer launched a scathing public attack that inadvertently dragged gospel artiste Tosin Bee into the controversy.

Following the court session, Davido took to Instagram to further express his displeasure, directing strong words at the lawyer identified as Ebelechukwu Enedah. In a series of posts, the singer accused the legal practitioner of unprofessional conduct and condemned the mention of his late child during proceedings, describing the act as insensitive and deeply hurtful. He also maintained that he had outperformed the lawyer in court and questioned her competence.

Tosin Bee explained that his mother passed away eight years ago and expressed sympathy for Davido over the emotional strain of the custody battle. He extended prayers and goodwill to the singer, emphasising that he harboured no ill feelings despite the online uproar.
