Edo: Dennis Idahosa Takes Contractor On Tour Of Electricity Project linking Ekenhuan Barracks To Gelegele Community.(photos)
Succour finally is on the way to over a hundred thousand households in Ovia North East constituency in Edo State as NPDC begins the restoration of electricity supply to the affected communities.
The project is an emergency intervention initiative by the NPDC after the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Dennis Idahosa cried out to the agency for help.
The Re-electrification project covers over 70 communities and will start from Ekenhuan Barracks and ends at Gelegele.
According to the youthful lawmaker during his electioneering campaign, he was shocked to find out that Ogede and Oduna wards were without electricity for over five years.
This led to the lawmaker having sleepless nights and he vowed to do the best he could to help influence the intervention of the oil agency.
Yesterday was all smiles as the lawmaker was at hand to take the contractors on a tour of the project sites. His joy saw no bounds.
