Edo House Of Regrets: Adams Oshiomhole Bounces Back As Ogbeide-Ihama And Dan Orbih Goes Mute, Karma Is A Stinking A$$

Today’s lesson is about the effect of Karma and the dangers inherent in practising politics of bitterness. I would be as candid as possible in other to pass my message across to the relevant authorisations.

Permit my bluntness as this article may hurt adherents of some of the characters mentioned, but history must be made by telling truth to those in power as unfortunately, I owe no allegiance to anyone.

Today, Edo is a complete house of commotion and we must sit back and enjoy the drama as it plays out.  Sequentially Karma has decided to flog our politicians the hard way. Some have quickly recovered and are back stronger while some are now suffering the consequences while a few others are on the waiting list to receive the slap of justice from KARMA.

Yes, Adams Oshiomhole was defeated and he has learnt his lessons. I have always respected Adams Oshiomhole right from his union days, his agility, passion and commitment to whatever he does have always distinguished him apart and unfortunately the same agility and energy was once his albatross.

APC aside from the betrayals within failed in the last Edo Gubernatorial polls because of a piece of well-oiled propaganda machinery against Godfatherism and unfortunately the propaganda sold itself effectively because of the same agility Adams Used in the first instance when he brought in Obaseki to APC. Adams Oshiomhole completely used his gifts of oratory and energetic drive to finish off the PDP in the 2016 Gubernatorial polls.

Accidentally it was his liability in the 2020 Gubernatorial election as the battle was between Adams and Obaseki, the Edo man is a very proud man and hates to be bossed around, hence Adams was defeated just because of that singular reason.

The APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu just happens to be unlucky to be caught up in the drama. Today his bruises are fast healing, while Adams Oshiomhole may have fully recovered as Edo citizens are earnestly disappointed in the present administration of Obaseki which has proven that Edo state now has a supreme leader who really enjoys the limelight as the supreme boss.

Suffice me to say here that the PDP acted the best way to accept Obaseki and offer him the platform to contest, it was the best move to do politically.

Now, where is Karma the bitch in the whole saga? Karma has dealt with Adams Oshiomhole and taught him the lessons of overzealousness in pushing for your Godson which in this case was Obaseki. He destroyed  Pastor Ize- Iyamu completely trying to project Obaseki and Karma paid him back.

However, Adams Oshiomhole is today a STARBOY because of the laudable achievements of his administration, I can confidently tell you that Edo Citizens prefer Adams Oshiomhole’s alleged Godfatherism to Obaseki’s personalisation of the system.

Adams is only lucky because his performance is now a yardstick for his assessment which is well above average. Adams Oshiomhole had multiple signature projects to his administration, unlike the present one.

I would buttress my point here with a Facebook post of a die-hard Torgbarian who was always defending Obaseki till a few weeks ago.

“We want technocrat naim we take fall enter Ovia river so. Edo who send us. Nothing seems to be working” now the comment session was what fascinated me more than the above-regretted quote.

Ujomonigho Omoregie said and I quote.

“It was a vote against Oshiomhole’s godfatherism to make a point. Expecting magic from Obaseki that is a product of the corrupt electoral system is naive in my opinion. Nothing is working in the country anyways. Failed state.”

The argument went back and forth and another respondent came in with his own beautiful postulations that Edo Citizens acted wrongly because of one man, he rhetorically asked that If Adams Oshiomhole now decides to relocate to London or anywhere else which he definitely has the resources what of the poor Edo citizens? Who now suffers the effect of poor governance?
Hear him…
”  Fact! Oshiomole can fly to the Uk anytime….but who is suffering the consequences now? It was a stupid move by the people to think they are punishing Oshiomole you don’t make politics like that!”

Intriguing I guess, now enough of Adams Oshiomhole. Let us discuss the role of Karma as it relates to all the accomplices that defeated the APC.

Let me start with the cold war between Obaseki and Philip Shaibu, it is in the public domain that Obaseki is bringing in another banker from Lagos to succeed him as Governor which has pitched himself and Oga Deputy against themselves.

In the heat of the political intrigues, Philip Shaibu was to be the beneficiary per adventure Obaseki was impeached. Philip said NO way and preferred to stick with Obaseki which could have given him an edge of becoming a Deputy Governor for 8 years and also a Governor for another 8 years. How lofty can our dreams be?

Karma is currently dealing with their relationship as H.E Philip Shaibu would have nowhere to cry to. My fear with the Governor is that whoever he gets in the ring with gets destroyed.

Chief Dan Orbih nko? Let me tell you guys an interesting gist, you see in Benin City where I grew up there is what we call Odionwere which means the oldest person in the neighbourhood. Chief Dan Orbih is the Odionwere of PDP in Edo State. The dude has been in PDP right from day one when the likes of Chief Tony Anenih joined in forming the party in 1998.

You can see how he was embarrassed when the governor chaired the meeting where his suspension was ratified.
Ask yourself why is Chief Dan Orbih mute? No, he can’t talk publicly, he must deal with the crisis at hand in silence if not he becomes rubbished as history has shown. Karma works in mysterious ways. Go and read the 10 track commandments by The Notorious BIG and you would see the PDP failed rule number three.
“Number three: Never trust nobody”

Rt Hon Omoregie Ogbeide nko? I earlier talked about the role of an Odionwere in society, Hon Ogbeide-Ihama is a baby Odionwere. He can be described as an Okaben who is like the elders in the household, which translates to a MINI  Odionwere.

This young amiable federal legislator has been in the PDP since 1998 as well. You know say dem talk say pikin wey wash him hands well go fit siddon follow elders chop. Na the case of OOI be dat.

He was at the same time suspended alongside Chief Dan Orbih. Are you aware that Hon Ogbeide-Ihama had the capacity to stop Obaseki from coming over to the PDP? He withdrew the court cases against the PDP that paved the way for Obaseki’s consensus and now see how he’s been treated and still, he can’t cry out, now tell me that KARMA is not a whipping ASS?

If Hon Ogbeide-Ihama can get to read this I would sincerely advise he crosses over to the APC and leave the impeding implosion in PDP. As a serving reps member from Oredo, he would be welcomed into the APC fold as it is clear he can not win a single ticket in PDP with the Governor holding the knife.

Having said all these let me go back to the basics again and let us review how Karma has paid our politicians in their own coins.

obaseki and oshiomole

Adams Oshiomhole:

Karma paid Oshowonder for bringing in Obaseki through the back door. Adams is fast recuperating courtesy of Edo citizens that are fed up with the current administration and have started appreciating the wonderful transformation he did in the state.
During the lying in state of Chief Victor Uwaifo at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium recently, Oshiomhole was accorded a wild ovation that showed his approval by the populace.

Verdict: Osho might be lucky to have a second chance courtesy of his past performances.

Hon Philip Shaibu:

Karma is currently dealing with him as his chances of succeeding Obaseki is like the proverbial camel passing through the eye of the needle. Although it is very possible as nothing is impossible.

Verdict:
The Deputy Governor should reopen discussions with his estranged political party the APC. The battle ahead would be tough for him to handle if without a political family.

Rt Hon Ogbeide-Ihama:

Ogbedie-Ihama played a major role in the victory of Obaseki and the PDP in the last gubernatorial election, anyone that denies Ihama this role is evil and should be banished to the Evil forest for crimes against humanity. I must confess Ogbedie-Ihama is a grassroots politician, he broke the jynx in Oredo, a first-class governorship material.

He should take my advice and consider dumping the PDP if he thinks of still having political relevance under Obaseki as PDP leader in Edo State. Already the Governor has positioned his chief of staff, Hon Osiagbovo Iyoha to take over from Ihama.

Make I yarn una why Obaseki is so unique in his battles, he starts the war early enough to appraise his chances. The SWOT analysis on Obaseki is top-notch. He uses good brains behind the scenes to get valuable data that he needs.

I am presently amongst one of the best data research political analyst and I know exactly what am saying, this article is not a conventional article of mine but laced with enough codes for whoever it may concern.

All Obaseki needs are the figures to work on in winning any battle and the Governor knows that majority of the figures needed are always the least expected and hence he always has an edge.

Verdict: Ogbeide-Ihama should work on a credible alternative, either he pays complete loyalty to Obaseki and enjoys his remaining tenure in peace or he leaves the party for the APC. Once bitten twice shy, rule number 3 the ten-track commandments,” Never Trust Anybody” applies here.

As of 6 am 10/19/2021 when I was about to post this article a piece of credible information came in as regards the APC, Obaseki and Chief Raymond Dokpesi.

Permit me to quickly touch on them to help buttress my points. Obaseki was actually in the Villa last week to seek Buhari’s permission in coming back to APC. He was given conditions.

Also, Chief Raymond Dokpesi was narrowly screened as PDP’s BOT member after Obaseki was alleged to have told the PDP that it is better for Edo not to have a board member than Chief Dokpesi. Can you believe all the advertorial aired by AIT during the last Gubernatorial poll were done at no cost?

The battle ahead would be tough and the Edo State Governor would always have an edge because he’s the governor and so many people would naturally like to cling to him, be it in APC or PDP.

I started this gist with the role Karma is currently playing, so permit me to end this gist with the role Karma has in store for those on the waiting list.

Let me playback the story of the Lion and the Sheep for you all to deduce where exactly am going when I said all the players would ultimately suffer from Karma.

“Long-time ago in the Animal Kingdom, a sheep was passing and saw a lion crying inside a cage trap and the lion begged the sheep to save him with a promise not to kill and eat it but the sheep refused. After much persuasion and for the sheep’s gullibility it opened the cage for the lion.

Now the lion was very hungry having stayed in the cage for days without food. It quickly grabbed the sheep to kill and eat but the sheep reminded him of his promise. They were still there arguing when other animals came passing and they sought to know what happened. Both the lion and the sheep narrated their own side of the story but because of fear and in trying to gain Favour in the sight of the lion, all the animals took side with the lion except the Tortoise who claim not to understand the whole scenario.

Now the Tortoise asked the lion to show them where he was before the sheep rescued him, he pointed at the cage. He asked again, “were you inside or outside when the sheep arrived”? The lion said he was inside. The tortoise again said, “ok, enter let’s see how difficult it could be inside”. The lion entered and the tortoise locked him back inside.

In amazement, the other animals asked the tortoise “why” and he replied, “if we allow him to eat the sheep today, he will still go hungry tomorrow and we don’t know the next amongst us to be eaten tomorrow.”

The moral of the Story …Nobody would be spared from Karma.
