EFCC Warrant Ignored: Adeyanju Blames Tinubu For Yahaya Bello’s Immunity
Deji Adeyanju, a prominent human rights advocate and lawyer, has accused President Bola Tinubu of shielding former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello from arrest and prosecution over an alleged ₦80.2 billion fraud.
Adeyanju claims that despite an arrest warrant issued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and ongoing fraud proceedings, Bello remains free due to presidential intervention.
He criticized the disparity in how protesters are treated compared to high-profile individuals evading justice.
