Governors Uzodinma, Aliyu To Storm Lagos For COWLSO’s 25th National Women’s Conference

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu, are set to grace the 25th National Women’s Conference organized by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) as special guests of honour.

According to Ireporter Online, Governor Uzodinma will attend the opening ceremony as the Special Guest of Honour, while Governor Aliyu will play the same role during the closing session of the high-profile event.

The conference, convened by the wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, who also serves as the Chairman of COWLSO, is themed “Visionary Legacy: Inspiring the Next Generation.” It is scheduled to take place from October 28 to 30 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In a statement released by the organisers, the 25th edition promises a rich lineup of plenary sessions, keynote addresses, and engaging side attractions designed to deepen the participants’ learning experience. Delegates will participate in interactive breakout sessions, innovation-driven discussion forums, and collaborative Kahoot quizzes that will turn key lessons into engaging, real-time experiences.

The statement further revealed that live demonstrations of new initiatives, tools, and services will be featured to showcase practical innovation in action.

The conference is expected to draw a diverse audience, including policymakers, professionals, entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations, community leaders, and advocates—all united by a shared vision of leadership, growth, and impactful community development.
