He Will Never Do It’ – Chief Priest Levels Sh*cking Claim About Davido’s Grammy Loss

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as ChiefPriest, has alleged that the Grammy loss of Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, was a deliberate attempt to undermine him and involve him in occult activities.

Davido was defeated by South African artist Tyla in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday. Tyla won the award for her hit single “Push 2 Start”, surpassing nominations including Burna Boy’s “Love”, Davido’s “With You” featuring Omah Lay, Ayra Starr and Wizkid’s “Gimme Dat”, as well as Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin’s “Hope & Love”.

This marks Tyla’s second victory in the category since its inception in 2024, when she first won for her track “Water”.

Reacting to Davido’s loss on Instagram, ChiefPriest shared photos of himself with the singer and claimed that certain music executives were attempting to manipulate Davido into participating in ungodly practices. He emphasized that Davido would never engage in such activities and urged him to focus on producing new music for his fans.

ChiefPriest wrote, “Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic sh*t with them, but he will never do it. Heads up, brother, open the bag and drop another hot one for us. E no dey finish, gbedu na water.”
