I Paid Once’ — Man Calls Out Portable Over Promotion Deal, Reveals Amount
A man has accused Nigerian street-hop singer Portable of failing to deliver a promotional service after allegedly paying him N1.5 million.
According to Ireporter Online, the man made the allegation during Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream, where he claimed he paid the singer in November 2025 but had yet to receive the promotion.
The man said he had evidence to support his claim and was seeking justice over the alleged transaction.
Recounting how he came in contact with Portable, he explained that he obtained the singer’s phone number from his social media page and subsequently contacted him online.
He said he later travelled to meet Portable in person, arriving in a Toyota Camry, after initially communicating with the singer through social media.
“He’s not my friend before. We had a chat online. I got his number on his page,” the man said.
He also claimed that he gave money to some of Portable’s associates in Sango during the encounter.
The allegation comes amid renewed attention on Portable’s public exchanges with fellow Nigerian artiste Zlatan.
On September 6, 2026, Zlatan reportedly displayed a balance of about N504 million on his Greatiby app, prompting Portable to question the claim during an Instagram Live session.
Portable reportedly argued that it was difficult for a Nigerian artiste to legitimately have such an amount and accused Zlatan of money laundering.
Zlatan subsequently responded with a jab at Portable, writing, “With all the soap and Fanta, N500m still go far for my guy eye.”
The latest allegation against Portable remains a claim by the individual involved, and there has been no independent confirmation of the alleged N1.5 million transaction or an indication in the material provided that Portable has responded to the accusation.
