Senator Ned Nwoko has shared his views on polygamy, stating that men with multiple wives tend to experience greater stability and balance in life compared to those married to only one woman.

According to Ireporter Online, the lawmaker made this remark during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Sunday, where he addressed issues surrounding his family life and responded to rumours of domestic violence involving his actress wife, Regina Daniels.

Nwoko explained that managing four wives is not as complicated as people assume, drawing a comparison between polygamy and standing on several legs for balance. He expressed sympathy for men with only one wife, describing such situations as “difficult to maintain.”

When asked about the religious justification for his stance, the senator asserted that the Old Testament supports polygamy and emphasized that his lifestyle choice stems from personal conviction rather than societal pressure.

Nwoko reaffirmed that he has no regrets about his marital decisions and would willingly choose the same path if given another opportunity. Addressing allegations of domestic violence, he firmly dismissed the claims, insisting that he treats his wives and children with utmost love and respect.

In his words, “Imagine trying to stand on one leg—it’s hard to keep balance. But with two, three, or four legs, you’re more stable. That’s why I feel sorry for those who have only one wife; it’s tough to manage. The Old Testament supports it, and I’m a man of faith. I have no regrets—I’ll do it again if I had to. I love and respect my wives and children.”
