According to Ireporter Online, Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has affirmed that the country will never surrender to Israel or the United States, as tensions in the Middle East escalated into a second week of conflict.

Pezeshkian made the declaration during a televised address on Saturday, emphasizing that Iran would continue to resist external pressures despite ongoing military strikes. He rejected demands for Iran’s unconditional surrender, warning that “Iran’s enemies must take their wish for the unconditional surrender of the Iranian people to their graves.”

In his address, he issued an apology to neighbouring countries affected by Iranian military operations, noting that they were not intended as targets. He further stated that the interim council had agreed to restrict further strikes on neighbouring nations unless Iran itself was attacked from those territories.
