Iran Will Never Surrender To Israel Or The United States — Masoud Pezeshkian

According to Ireporter Online, Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has affirmed that the country will never surrender to Israel or the United States, as tensions in the Middle East escalated into a second week of conflict.

Pezeshkian made the declaration during a televised address on Saturday, emphasizing that Iran would continue to resist external pressures despite ongoing military strikes. He rejected demands for Iran’s unconditional surrender, warning that “Iran’s enemies must take their wish for the unconditional surrender of the Iranian people to their graves.”

The confrontation escalated following coordinated strikes by Israel and the United States on February 28, which resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and triggered a broader regional crisis. In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israeli and American interests, particularly in the Gulf region.

Pezeshkian, serving as one of three members of an interim leadership council, is overseeing national affairs while Iran prepares to appoint a new supreme leader under its constitutional framework.

In his address, he issued an apology to neighbouring countries affected by Iranian military operations, noting that they were not intended as targets. He further stated that the interim council had agreed to restrict further strikes on neighbouring nations unless Iran itself was attacked from those territories.
