Job Scam Exposed: NSCDC Apprehends 32-Year-Old Fraudster In Kano, For Defrauding Victims Over N1.2 Million

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended a 32-year-old job scammer, Mu’azu Mohammed Ibrahim, in Kano State. Ibrahim, who was tracked for weeks, allegedly defrauded individuals of over N1.2 million by promising fake employment in various government ministries.

The suspect, residing in Sagagi Quarters, Kano Municipal LGA, lured victims by posing as a government official. The NSCDC confirmed that the investigation is complete, and Ibrahim will be charged in court by the corps’ legal unit.
