Joe Trex Set To Drop New Music Project Next Month
Nigerian-born gospel minister and singer Joseph Oyinlola, popularly known as Joe Trex, has announced plans to release a new music project in October 2026.
According to Ireporter Online, the UK-based singer made the disclosure during a recent conversation about his music career and ministry.
Joe Trex said he is currently working on a project titled Hallelujah Song, which is scheduled for release on October 22, 2026.
The singer explained that the project will reflect his artistic direction while focusing on themes of worship, the character of God and the believer’s response to His presence.
For Joe Trex, music extends beyond entertainment, as he views his work as an expression of salvation through music. He said this conviction is reflected in the meaning behind his stage name, TREX, which stands for “The Real Expression of Salvation.”
Speaking about his musical journey, the singer said he began singing at the age of seven and was heavily influenced by his father, who was previously a Juju musician before becoming a pastor.
He said his ministry has consistently emphasised remaining focused on Christ while combining his faith with excellence and structure in his musical career.
Joe Trex has performed alongside several prominent Nigerian and African gospel artistes, including Sinach, Eben, Ebuka Songs, Abbey Ojomu, Folabi Nuel and Neon Adejo.
His music includes songs such as We Wait (Spirit of the Living God) and I No Fear, which reflect his focus on worship and encouraging listeners to develop a deeper relationship with God.
With the upcoming Hallelujah Song project, Joe Trex is expected to further establish his artistic identity while delivering music centred on worship, faith and the Christian experience.
