JUST IN: APC Suspends Top Party Chieftain Over Failure To Win Polling Unit

Boss Mustapha1

Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), has been suspended by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwadabawa Ward of Adamawa State’s Yola North Local Government Area.

The ward executives announced this while speaking to the media at the Gwadabawa Ward office in Yola, Adamawa State’s capital.

The SGF, they claim, failed to assist the party at the ward level in the 2023 general election.

They claimed that Mustapha did not lend a helping hand during the state’s presidential and governorship elections.

Abdulkarim Nuhu, the secretary of the APC in the ward, did not specify when the suspension would end.

Adamawa is the home state of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

The PDP candidate received 417,611 votes, while Tinubu received 182,881 votes and Obi received 105,645 votes. With 8,006, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) finished fourth.

In the March 18 governorship election, which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared inconclusive, the APC’s Aishatu Dahiru, popularly known as Binani, received 390,275 votes, while the incumbent, PDP Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, received 421,524.
