“Kcee Reveals The Bold Strategy That Keeps Him Churning Out Hit Songs”
Afrobeats star Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has revealed that his resilience in the music industry is driven by unwavering consistency and a positive mindset. According to Ireporter Online, the singer shared these insights during an appearance on the Selah Meditate podcast, where he spoke candidly about his approach to creating hit songs.
Kcee explained that he never allows the pressure to produce chart-topping records to discourage him. Rather than dwelling on setbacks, he said he focuses on releasing more music because every new track presents another opportunity for success. He noted that persistence has always been a central factor in his career, adding that he could release over 20 songs before finally landing a hit, but he remains unfazed because consistency eventually pays off.
The “Limpopo” crooner also highlighted the role of positive manifestation in shaping his journey. He recalled that during his early years with his brother, E-Money, they often envisioned a more prosperous future despite living in Ajegunle. Kcee said they would confidently tell people they lived in Ikeja, not as a form of deception, but as a way of speaking their aspirations into existence. According to him, that mindset eventually became reality when they later moved to the area and established themselves there.
Kcee added that maintaining optimism and focusing on long-term goals has helped him navigate challenges and achieve the success he enjoys today.
