Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kiddwaya has cleared the air on viral reports claiming he spent a staggering $30,000 on a plate of jollof rice at Whitemoney’s restaurant.

According to Ireporter Online, Kiddwaya made the clarification during a recent interview with Trend Centrl on YouTube, where he explained that the story had been grossly misunderstood. He revealed that his intention was purely to support Whitemoney’s food business and not to splurge extravagantly on a meal.

“First of all, I was supporting a friend’s business. That’s it. Jollof rice was just the concept,” Kiddwaya stated. “I follow Whitemoney on his food; his food is great. He makes jollof rice, chicken, and all that kind of stuff. I was supporting his brand, helping him push it. The jollof rice was just the idea behind it.”

The reality star noted that social media users twisted the story after photos of him at the restaurant surfaced online. “You know when you post on social media, people will assume things. But really, who’s spending thirty grand on one plate of jollof rice?” he quipped.

Kiddwaya added that he chose not to argue with the online narrative, saying he simply watched the conversation unfold. “I’m on Twitter reading everything they said. I just said okay, cool. Never try to fight it,” he remarked.

He concluded that his visit to Whitemoney’s restaurant was an act of friendship and encouragement, emphasizing that his gesture was meant to promote and support Whitemoney’s growing culinary brand.
