Labour Party Chairman Julius Abure Arrested– Police Unveil Startling Details
In a startling development, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has confirmed the arrest of Labour Party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure, in Benin City, Edo State. Momoh elaborated that Abure, alongside four others, was taken into custody following a petition lodged against them by an unnamed petitioner. The allegations stemmed from an incident where a member of the party purportedly faced an attempt on their life.
The police spokesperson disclosed that video evidence and recordings depicted the petitioner being assaulted and beaten during a ward-related matter last year. The accusations against Abure and his associates include attempted murder, conspiracy, and possession of illegal firearms, notably a short gun and three rounds of ammunition.
