Lizzy Gold Explains Why She’s Not Ready For Marriage

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has revealed that she has no immediate plans to get married and urged the public to stop pressuring her about her relationship status.

The 38-year-old actress and mother of two shared her thoughts in a video posted on social media while preparing to attend a colleague’s wedding. She acknowledged that people might wonder why she remains single but emphasized that marriage is not a priority at this stage of her life.

Lizzy explained that her current focus is on raising her children, describing herself as “married to my kids.” She stated that she would only consider a relationship with a man who is established and serious, and she is not willing to rush into a partnership that does not meet her standards.

The actress further noted that choosing to remain single is not a wrongdoing if a suitable partner does not appear. She said: “It is not going to be my turn anytime soon. I am not getting married anytime soon; I am not even thinking about it. I am waiting on God. If peradventure there is no man, it is not a sin to remain single.”

In previous interviews, Lizzy has shared that she values her personal space and prefers to take her time before committing to marriage. She has also expressed openness to the idea of a long-distance marriage, as she is not comfortable living with a spouse full-time.
