Momoh Attends Burial of E.K. Clark, Eulogizes the Late Elder Statesman and Ijaw Icon (Video)

The Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, was among top dignitaries who gathered in Kiagbodo, Delta State, for the burial of elder statesman and Ijaw leader, Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

Speaking at the solemn interment service held at the late Clark’s hometown church, Momoh paid glowing tributes, describing the late nationalist as “a beacon of wisdom, a fearless voice for justice, and a tireless advocate for equity and development in the Niger Delta.”

While President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented by the SGF, Senator George Akume, Minister Momoh attended in his own capacity and emphasized Clark’s lasting impact on Nigeria’s democratic journey and regional development.

Other attendees included Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and the governors of Bayelsa, Delta, Bauchi, and Akwa Ibom States.

Momoh described the moment as “a farewell to a true legend whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.”
