Nation’s Security At Risk: Tambuwal Calls For Immediate Intervention

The immediate former Governor of Sokoto State and current Sokoto North Senator, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has called for urgent action regarding Nigeria’s worsening security situation. Tambuwal’s plea follows the recent killing of the Emir of Gobir, Isa Bawa, by bandits, which he described as barbaric.

In a condolence message, Tambuwal condemned the attack and urged security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend those responsible for threatening the nation’s peace and stability. He emphasized the need for swift justice for the late Emir and highlighted the broader security challenges facing Nigeria.

Tambuwal extended his thoughts and prayers to the family of the deceased, the Sultanate Council of Sokoto, and the people of Gatawa and Sabon Birni Local Government Area. He called on the nation to unite in addressing the insecurity that continues to plague communities across the country.
