The assurance was given on Monday during an interfaith breaking of the fast at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where the President hosted religious and traditional leaders from across the country.

The gathering brought together leaders of diverse faiths and traditional institutions as part of ongoing efforts to foster national unity and cooperation. Addressing the meeting, President Tinubu highlighted the security challenges facing Nigeria, particularly the escalating activities of terrorists. He noted that the attackers are becoming increasingly desperate as security forces intensify operations against them, but emphasized that Nigeria will not relent in its fight against violent groups.

He further highlighted that state governors are no longer struggling to meet workers’ salaries due to economic stabilization efforts.

The President reaffirmed his commitment to investing in critical sectors such as agriculture and education, describing them as essential for national development and the wellbeing of future generations. He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, assuring them that his administration is focused on building a safer and more prosperous country.

Speaking at the event, the Etsu Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for convening leaders of different religions, noting that the gathering exemplifies national unity despite religious diversity. He prayed for peace and divine guidance for Nigeria and its leadership. The Etsu Nupe represented the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar.
