No Friendship Exists Between Me And Annie Idibia – Yvonne Jegede Speaks Out

Talented Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has addressed circulating rumors suggesting a friendship with Annie Idibia, the estranged wife of Nigerian music legend 2Baba. The speculation arose after Yvonne was seen supporting 2Baba’s new wife, Natasha, following his breakup with Annie.

According to Ireporter Online, Yvonne clarified in an interview with NaijaFM 102.7 that she does not share a friendship with Annie Idibia. She emphasized that aside from appearing in the music video for 2Baba’s hit song African Queen, they have not been seen together and do not have mutual friends.

“Apart from the video for African Queen, I don’t think anybody has seen us together before. We don’t have common friends. I don’t have a friendship relationship with Annie. I don’t know where they are getting that narrative from. Back then, I only walked into a studio, did my thing for the African Queen video, and left,” Yvonne stated.

She further explained that neither she nor Annie have followed each other on social media, debunking any assumptions of a relationship beyond the music video. “I don’t understand where the narrative of us unfollowing each other is coming from,” she added.
