Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola’s Burial Plans Revealed

According to Ireporter Online, the family of Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has revealed details of her upcoming burial following her passing after a brief illness. Colleagues and fans have expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the popular actress.

In a statement shared on Instagram by Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami on Saturday, the family announced that a Service of Songs will take place on January 8, 2026, followed by a Candlelight procession. Ademola will be laid to rest on January 9 at Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos.

Salami noted that customized T-shirts will be provided at the service of songs, while attendees are requested to wear white clothing for the burial ceremony. He captioned the announcement: “THE BURIAL ARRANGEMENT FOR PRINCESS ALLWELL ADEMOLA. Note: On Thursday, a customised T-shirt will be provided at the venue. For Friday, attendees may wear a white shirt with jeans. Colour code is white. Thank you, everyone.”

The Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) also shared information about Ademola’s final moments, confirming that she experienced breathing difficulties and was taken to Ancilla Catholic Hospital in Agege, where she was placed on oxygen. Doctors later confirmed her passing on December 27, 2025.

TAMPAN described Allwell Ademola as a dedicated and hardworking member, noting her consistent participation in the Guild of Directors and the wider association, and paid tribute to her contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
