According to Ireporter Online, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s capacity to confront Nigeria’s security challenges, describing the situation as difficult but manageable.

The monarch spoke on Friday after a closed-door meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Addressing State House correspondents, Oba Ladoja identified insecurity as the country’s most pressing challenge, noting that it has severely affected farmers and residents of rural communities and is gradually spreading to the southern parts of the country.

He observed that widespread fear has made it increasingly difficult for farmers to access their farmlands and for citizens to carry out daily economic activities. Despite the situation, the traditional ruler said he believes the challenge can be overcome and expressed confidence that the President is actively addressing the problem.
