Osun 2026: Agoro Mobilises Support For Oyebamiji, Backs Bola Ahmed Tinubu Re-Election Bid
An aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Ademola Isaac Agoro, has intensified efforts to mobilise grassroots support for the party’s governorship candidate, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
According to reports from Ireporter Online, Agoro engaged with constituents in Oriade Local Government Area, expressing strong confidence in the APC’s chances of reclaiming power in the state. He pledged to deliver substantial votes for the party’s candidate, while also backing the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During the engagement, Agoro assured party members of his commitment to strengthening unity within the APC, rebuilding trust across its structures, and ensuring disciplined mobilisation in preparation for the polls. He urged residents, particularly those in Ward 12 and across Oriade LGA, to turn out in large numbers to support the party’s candidates, stressing that active political participation would attract greater developmental benefits to the area.
As part of his outreach, the aspirant distributed food items, clothing, and financial support to elderly residents and party leaders, while also promising to empower youths through targeted initiatives aimed at supporting their ambitions.
In separate remarks, the lawmaker representing the constituency, Nathaniel Agunbiade, commended Agoro’s people-oriented approach and encouraged party supporters to rally behind the APC governorship candidate and Agoro’s own ambition to represent the constituency in 2027.
Party leaders within the local government, including Gabriel Ogunsanya, emphasised the need for unity, discipline, and collective effort to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming election. They lauded Agoro’s contributions toward strengthening the party and supporting constituents, assuring him of continued backing.
Similarly, the APC Chairman in the area, Kayode Ajewole, alongside former LCDA Chairman Felix Agboge, praised Agoro’s impact on the community, urging residents to register and participate actively in the electoral process to ensure victory for the party.
In his goodwill message, the Elerinmo of Erinmo, Michael Odunayo Ajayi, described Agoro as a distinguished son of the town and expressed continued support for his efforts, while calling on residents to offer prayers for sustained progress and development in the constituency.
