Osun APC Chairman’s Wife Passes Away

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Tajudeen Lawal, has been plunged into mourning following the death of his wife, Alhaja Fatimah Oreoluwa Lawal.

According to Ireporter Online, she died on Friday at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex after a brief illness.

The Osun State chapter of the APC expressed deep sorrow over the development, describing her passing as a significant loss not only to the Lawal family but also to the party and the wider community. Party officials noted that she was widely regarded for her humility, compassion, and unwavering support for her husband’s political career.

They further highlighted her reputation as a devoted Muslim woman and a caring mother who maintained close ties with her family while extending support to those around her.

In a condolence message, the party described the deceased as a virtuous and compassionate individual whose life was defined by kindness, dedication to her family, and commitment to humanity. The APC extended its sympathies to the state chairman, his immediate and extended family, as well as all those affected by the loss, while offering prayers for her eternal rest and strength for the bereaved.

She is scheduled to be buried on Saturday in Ile-Ife in accordance with Islamic rites.
