If I Was Paid To Love Tinubu Then How Much Were You Paid To Hate Him ?- June 12 Advocate Challenges Internet Trolls

”Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!” –  Bob Marley

We need to chop life oh, because Wahala no dey finish I swear, there is a thread on Facebook currently causing ripples. Days ago Nigerians celebrated June 12  and one activist simply known as Hakeem took to his social media handles to felicitate with Tinubu on democracy day.
The strong student of Awoism and a staunch supporter of the June 12 struggle eulogized Tinubu to the extent that it evoked anti-Tinubu supporters who ganged up to accuse the activist of being bought over by the Jagaban.

The salvo started when one troll slid into his comment session to accuse Hakeem of collecting peanuts to twist history, ” hello sir you should be ashamed of yourself calling Tinubu a symbol of democracy because of the peanuts you have collected, you have decided to turn yourself into a puppet, coming here to spew fake love for the Jagaban and distort history”

Then an ally backed him up by saying the money he received would not even be able to give him a decent meal in these trying times. With back to back comments from the duo, Hakeem was mocked for a while.

Hakeem’s comeback was epic, he practically gave it to his trolls with facts and constructive submissions. For me na 3 Gbosa for Hakeem the way he responded to the litany of attacks showed that he was on top of his game.

“Young man, if you say some of us were paid to love Tinubu, the Jagaban of Borgu, I want to ask you, sir, how much were you paid to hate him?
You cry every day that Nigeria is at the point of disintegration and yet you look up to the Lagos Market for survival? June 12 was a watershed in our history signifying the victory of MKO Abiola and I was a part of the struggle, which struggle have you ever participated in?

When Nigerians stood up for democracy which role did you play? Ordinary things no longer freak me, take a look at Tinubu’s trajectory and you would agree with me that he’s a man of visionary leadership.

Tinubu was the first governor to proffer independent power supply as an alternative to our electricity problems,  his foresight in the development of Lagos as a megacity is what you are today a beneficiary of.
Have you ever asked yourself why Lagos still works optimally even amidst these present challenges hitting Nigeria hard?

If just one-quarter of our states were like Lagos, Nigerians would not be this frustrated, but because you have been paid by retrogressors who are determined to achieve their dark ends you are stocked up with hate.

So Tinubu is going higher every day you are envious, have you asked yourself why Tinubu’s political family is still intact? It’s because Tinubu despite leaving public office in 2007 still remains the most faithful leader to his adherents. How many times have you heard of dirty political war amongst Tinubu’s disciples?

Ask your miserable self if not for Lagos where would you have been? But because you are filled with hate you can’t see that Lagos is a PROTOTYPE of Nigeria.

Young man, what Nigeria needs at this time is a diplomat with the required financial prudence to guide us to safer grounds, your hate for Tinubu would not drive out darkness, only light can do that.

Wake up young man and smell the coffee, we need a focussed leader with the political willpower to transform Nigeria.
If loving Tinubu would make me be a criminal then I want to be a criminal.” Gbasgbos….who won the royal rumble?

Kikiki, today’s article is dedicated to Hakeem and his trolls.
