Pastor Damina Drops Bombshell: ‘No Tithe or Offering Reaches Heaven

Pastor Abel Damina, founder of Abel Damina Ministries International (ADMI), has sparked fresh controversy by declaring that church offerings and tithes are not received by God but are instead used by men.

The clergyman made the bold assertion during a recent sermon, which has since gone viral. Known for his unorthodox teachings, Damina challenged mainstream Christian practices, arguing that financial contributions in churches ultimately benefit religious leaders rather than serving a divine purpose.

“No offering goes to heaven; every time we gather money in this church, it is spent by men. All the so-called offerings to God actually go to people,” he stated.

This is not the first time Damina has stirred debate with his views. Earlier this year, he drew criticism after stating that smoking and drinking are not sins according to Christian doctrine.

In his latest sermon, he accused some pastors of misleading congregants by falsely claiming that tithes “open the doors of heaven.”

“Those who insist on tithing as a pathway to blessings are manipulating believers. The doors of heaven were opened when Jesus resurrected—they’ve never been closed,” he argued.

Damina also dismissed backlash from critics, suggesting that pastors who condemn his stance do so to maintain control over their followers’ finances.

“Some call me evil for saying people shouldn’t pay tithes, but they say such things to keep exploiting their members,” he added.

The pastor further alleged that many religious leaders who enforce tithing do not practice it themselves, raising questions about the sincerity behind such teachings.
