Police Summon Comedian Dee One For Routine Interview

According to Ireporter Online, former Big Brother Naija housemate and comedian, Aderombi Adedayo, widely known as Dee One, has been invited by the Nigeria Police Force, Force Intelligence Department (FID), for a routine interview.

Dee One shared the invitation letter on X, explaining that the meeting is part of a fact-finding exercise. He is scheduled to report to the FID Annex Office in Lagos on Monday.

The comedian indicated that the invitation may be connected to a video he posted commenting on a recent incident involving the President during a trip to Turkey. He said, “I saw something unusual that occurred in Turkey involving our President and shared my views as an ordinary Nigerian. If this invitation concerns the video I posted yesterday, I have received various reactions. Some have suggested that I engaged in cyberbullying and that I should not have mentioned the President’s son or commented on the President.”
