Portable Took Advantage Of Me When I Was Younger’ – Actress Ashabi Speaks Out

According to Ireporter Online, Yoruba Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ashabi Simple has accused Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, of exploiting her due to her young age.

The actress made the revelation during an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s YouTube channel. When asked if Portable had promised to marry her, Ashabi said she would not have entered into a relationship with the singer if such a promise had not been made.

Ashabi described Portable as a caring individual despite his controversial lifestyle and revealed that her career experienced positive growth after meeting the Zeh Nation label boss. She further disclosed that Portable has ten children, including one with her, but confirmed that they are no longer together as she wanted to test her independence and career success without him.

Speaking in Yoruba, Ashabi said, “Portable chanced me, he saw me at my younger age and took advantage of it, and he used to be a caring person. Portable has 10 children at age 32, and mine is 2 out of them.”

When asked if she would consider returning to the singer, Ashabi did not provide a definitive answer. She also revealed that she chose a polygamous marriage due to the demands of her profession, which limits her time with her spouse.
