Nnamani announced his departure from the People’s Democratic Party on Monday (PDP).

On Tuesday, he cited betrayal and sabotage as reasons for losing the election and a potential Senate presidency bid.

“Enugu people know I can not lose election in “ebeano Country”. I wish Sen. Kelvin Chukwu well,” Nnamani tweeted.
