Red Line Drawn! PDP South-South Dares Ologunagba Amid Fierce Internal Showdown

The factional South-South Zonal Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a stern warning to the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, demanding that he refrain from making public statements about the party’s affairs in the region.

According to reports, the faction, under the leadership of Dan Orbih, expressed deep frustration over what it described as repeated “embarrassments” caused by Ologunagba’s comments.

In a statement signed by the Zonal Publicity Secretary, Prince Etim Isong, the group accused Ologunagba of fueling internal conflicts in the zone.

“The PDP in the South-South Zone is fed up with Debo Ologunagba’s disgraceful and inappropriate behavior. We therefore demand that he immediately stop interfering in, commenting on, or issuing statements regarding matters that concern the South-South Zone or any of its states.

Failure to heed this warning will attract serious consequences,” the statement read.

The Orbih-led faction also blamed Ologunagba for escalating the crisis within the Ondo State chapter of the party.

“The Zonal leadership believes Ologunagba’s reckless remarks have played a major role in sparking unnecessary crises within the party. His conduct is widely viewed as a hindrance to the PDP’s efforts to regain political ground in Ondo State,” it added.

The statement further alleged that Ologunagba’s public comments on the Supreme Court ruling regarding the office of the National Secretary directly influenced the stance taken by the PDP Governors Forum.
