Renewed Hope Roars in Delta! Senator Backs Tinubu’s APC Endorsement for 2027″

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has praised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for endorsing President Bola Tinubu as its sole presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.

The APC lawmaker expressed his support during the APC National Summit on the Renewed Hope Agenda, held on Thursday at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

During the event, APC governors, members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), stakeholders, and the APC-led leadership of the National Assembly unanimously adopted President Tinubu for re-election, citing his accomplishments over the past two years.

Senator Dafinone commended the party’s leadership for promptly acknowledging the President’s efforts, noting that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has set Nigeria on a path to accountability, inclusive growth, and grassroots development.

“There are clear early signs that the economy is beginning to recover,” Dafinone stated, “which justifies the tough yet necessary decisions taken by the President, particularly in areas like fuel subsidy removal and exchange rate reform. These steps are foundational to achieving a strong and resilient economy.”

He added that an early endorsement not only strengthens internal party cohesion ahead of the 2027 elections but also reduces the risk of internal conflict during future party congresses and preparations.

“This unified stance reflects the foresight of our leaders—APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, and the leadership of the National Assembly under Senator Godswill Akpabio and Hon. Tajudeen Abbas,” he said.

Dafinone further contrasted APC’s stability with the struggles faced by other political parties, commending the APC’s consolidation efforts both at national and state levels, including in Delta State under Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
