Revealing the Truth: Why Moses Didn’t See the Back of God—Apostle Johnson Suleman’s Insight
Apostle Johnson Suleman has recently stirred discussions with a thought-provoking video posted on YouTube, where he challenges the traditional belief that Moses saw the back of God. This widely-held notion, rooted in biblical accounts, is scrutinized by Suleman as he offers a fresh perspective on the nature of Moses’ encounter with the Divine.
In the video, Suleman addresses the popular interpretation that Moses witnessed God’s back, a concept derived from the Bible. According to Scripture, no one can see God and live. Moses had expressed a desire to see God’s face, to which God responded, “You cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live. But I will show you My hind parts.” This statement has led many to believe that Moses saw the literal back of God.
Suleman, however, presents a different interpretation. He argues that the idea of seeing God’s back is a misunderstanding. “You can’t see the back of God in a literal sense,” Suleman asserts. “When you see the back of a man, you see his form. God is not a man, so seeing His back as one would see another person’s back is not possible.”
Instead, Suleman suggests that God’s words about showing His “hind parts” were meant to convey something deeper. “When God said He would show Moses His hind parts, He was referring to revealing the actions and history of what He had done before Moses’ time,” Suleman explains. “It’s about showing Moses the historical and divine processes that shaped creation and existence.”
Suleman also raises questions about the authorship of the Bible, specifically the Book of Genesis. He argues that Moses could not have been present at the events described, such as the creation of light or the formation of man. Therefore, these accounts are seen as God’s “hind parts,” a way of revealing past actions rather than literal visibility.
The apostle further elaborates on Moses’ unique relationship with God. “Moses was so profoundly influenced by God’s glory that his death was not a result of human action but rather a divine act,” Suleman asserts. “God Himself had to take Moses’ life because no mortal could end his earthly existence.”
Suleman’s interpretation offers a deeper understanding of Moses’ experience and emphasizes the profound nature of divine revelation. His insights challenge conventional wisdom and encourage a more nuanced view of biblical encounters with the Divine.
