Royal Seal For 2027! Emir Of Daura Says Tinubu’s Reelection Is Beyond Doubt
Emir of Daura Backs Tinubu for 2027, Cites Unmatched Burial Honour for Buhari
The Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness Umar Faruq-Umar, has thrown his full weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, ACCORDING TO IREPORTER ONLINE.
The 97-year-old monarch, while addressing visitors at his palace in Daura, Katsina State, described Tinubu’s gesture during the burial of former President Muhammadu Buhari as historic and deeply touching.
ACCORDING TO IREPORTER ONLINE, the Emir emotionally stood up to praise President Tinubu, applauding the head of state for the honour and respect shown to the late Buhari.
He emphasized that Tinubu’s actions — including declaring a public holiday, attending the funeral personally, providing a presidential jet for the transport of Buhari’s remains, and dispatching high-ranking officials to console the bereaved family — were unparalleled in Nigeria’s political history.
“I have never seen such a befitting state burial accorded to a Nigerian leader as what Tinubu did for Muhammadu Buhari,” the monarch stated. “The world can testify. And this respect will not go unnoticed. Come 2027, we are going for Tinubu.”
Also present was the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who led a delegation of the Nigerian Governors’ Wives Forum on a condolence visit. She described Buhari’s death as a personal loss, noting that her husband lost not only a national icon but also a loyal friend and political ally of over three decades.
The condolence visit was facilitated by Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda and was attended by top female dignitaries, including the wife of the Vice President.
ACCORDING TO IREPORTER ONLINE, the Emir’s powerful endorsement marks a key moment of growing northern support for Tinubu, signaling what could become a solid political bloc ahead of the 2027 general elections.
