According to Ireporter Online, Afrobeats stars Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, have ended their public feud, reconciling after months of disagreement stemming from the 2023 presidential election. The dispute began when Kuti criticized Labour Party candidate Peter Obi, prompting a response from Okoye and sparking a heated social media exchange between the two musicians.
The reconciliation was witnessed at a Lagos nightclub, where the artists were seen embracing. Kuti remarked, “We are artistes, we can’t be fighting over politicians,” a sentiment Okoye echoed, signaling a mutual desire to move past the controversy and focus on their music.
