In a video titled “The conclusion of the missing 180 million naira from my NGO account, the investigation has ended”, VDM expressed his frustration with those who hastily believed the news without verifying the facts. He criticized the eagerness to spread negative news, saying, “No money is missing; my funds are secure.”

The influencer recounted how he instructed his website manager to temporarily shut down the site to address the frenzy, adding, “It’s quite disheartening to see the excitement around negative news.”

Verydarkman also addressed the partial recovery of ₦78 million on December 29, mentioning that his team would be traveling to Ghana to investigate further and identify those behind the hacking. The influencer assured his followers that his NGO’s website was under review to strengthen security.
