They Were Under Me,” JJC Skillz Claims, Accusing Don Jazzy And D’banj Of Betrayal

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer and producer Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, has accused music stars Don Jazzy and D’banj of betraying him in the early stages of their careers.

JJC Skillz made the claims during a recent interview on Echo Room, recounting his experiences with the artists while they were struggling musicians in the United Kingdom. He alleged that Don Jazzy, D’banj, and others conspired against him despite his efforts to support them at the time.

He explained that he initially approached them for assistance, believing they could help him reconnect with the Nigerian music industry. “I met them because they were running a TV station. I came to them and said, ‘You guys are obviously well connected to Nigeria, and me, I am a JJC. I just need somebody to introduce me to the right people to work with in Nigeria,’” he recalled.

JJC Skillz added that Don Jazzy and D’banj were part of his group and under his guidance at the time. “These people who were supposed to introduce me back home to Nigeria had plans that I didn’t know about,” he said, alleging that he later learned D’banj accused him of cheating them while working together in the UK.

Expressing disbelief, JJC Skillz emphasized that he had provided financial and material support to the duo when they were still unknown. “I was the one taking them to shows, accommodating, feeding and clothing them. So, how can I be cheating when you haven’t made any money?” he questioned.

As of the time of filing this report, Don Jazzy, D’banj, and the other individuals mentioned have yet to respond to the allegations.
