Three Arrested As Police Hunt More Suspects In Violent Attack On Fuji Star Obesere

According to Ireporter Online, authorities in Ondo State have confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the attack on popular Fuji artist Obesere and members of his entourage in Okitipupa. The incident occurred on Friday shortly after the musician concluded a performance at a burial ceremony, provoking widespread anger among residents and fans.

The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Soga Andrew Ogunsakin, strongly denounced the assault, calling it an unacceptable act of violence. He explained that he took immediate steps to ensure accountability and restore order once he was informed of the situation.

Ogunsakin disclosed that three suspects linked to the disruption had been taken into custody, while security operatives continue efforts to apprehend others believed to have participated in the attack. He added that some of the items reportedly stolen from the musician’s crew were recovered during the police intervention.

The LG chairman further revealed that he had reached out to Obesere’s management to arrange a meeting in order to convey his concerns and discuss the incident in detail.
