Tinubu Elevates Masari To Special Adviser Role
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as Special Adviser on Political Affairs, strengthening his inner circle of trusted aides. According to Ireporter Online, the announcement was made on Thursday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Masari, a close ally of the President, previously held the same position as Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs, a role he was first assigned in 2023. The Katsina-born politician also served as the welfare secretary of the ruling party during Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s tenure as party chairman.
In his new capacity, Masari will collaborate with Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed Special Adviser on Political Affairs in July 2023.
