Tinubu Emerges Winner Of APC 2027 Presidential Primary (Full Results)

President Bola Tinubu has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary ahead of the 2027 general election, securing the party’s ticket in a landslide victory.

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, Tinubu defeated his only challenger, Stanley Osifo from Edo State, by an overwhelming margin following the nationwide primary exercise conducted across 8,809 wards in the country’s 774 local government areas.

The outcome of the primary was officially announced on Sunday, May 24, 2026, by the Chairman of the APC Presidential Primaries Committee, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, after the collation of results at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Official figures released showed that President Tinubu polled 10,999,967 votes, while Osifo secured 16,503 votes. With the victory, Tinubu has now become the APC’s official presidential candidate for the 2027 election.

Shortly after the announcement, the President arrived at the International Conference Centre in Abuja alongside the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, for the presentation of the party’s flag and certificate of return.

Earlier, Tinubu had returned to the Federal Capital Territory from Lagos after participating in the primary election process. He was welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by several prominent government officials and political figures, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat; Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu; and other dignitaries.
