Tinubu Mourns Tragic Loss Of Two Kano Lawmakers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed profound grief over the death of two members of the Kano State House of Assembly, describing the development as heartbreaking and deeply painful.

According to Ireporter Online, the President conveyed his condolences to the Kano State Government and residents following the demise of the lawmakers, Aminu Saad Ungogo and Aliyu Sarki Daneji, who represented the Ungogo and Kano Municipal constituencies respectively.

Reports indicate that the two legislators passed away in separate incidents within the space of one hour on Wednesday, a tragic occurrence President Tinubu said has cast a shadow of mourning over the state legislature and their respective constituencies.

The President noted that their passing has left a significant gap in the Kano State House of Assembly, depriving their constituents of dedicated and committed representation.

In his message, President Tinubu extended sympathies to the families of the deceased lawmakers, their constituents, as well as the government and people of Kano State. He also commiserated with the leadership and members of the Kano State House of Assembly, acknowledging the pain of losing respected colleagues.

The President offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the departed lawmakers and asked God to grant strength and comfort to their families, colleagues, and constituents during the difficult period.
