Tinubu’s Achievements Underreported, Says APC Acting National Chair

The Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ali Dalori, has raised concerns over what he described as deliberate efforts by opposition politicians to incite public resentment against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by downplaying his administration’s achievements and exaggerating ongoing security challenges. Speaking during a capacity-building workshop held in Abuja for the party’s zonal and state publicity secretaries, Dalori accused opposition elements of consistently undermining the government’s accomplishments while exploiting sensitive national issues to mislead citizens.

Dalori asserted that President Tinubu’s administration has made significant strides in stabilizing the economy and accelerating infrastructure development across the nation within just two years of governance. He noted that these accomplishments have not received the level of media visibility they deserve due to what he called the calculated silence from those seeking to manipulate public perception.

In a statement released through his Special Assistant on Media and Strategic Communications, Balogun Ekundayo, the APC chairman emphasized the need for party communication officers to intensify efforts in promoting the government’s developmental milestones. He stated that while the Tinubu administration remains focused on national progress, some opposition figures are allegedly playing politics with issues of national security.

The President has made commendable progress in addressing insecurity, yet some political actors continue to frame these efforts as failures,” Dalori remarked. He urged party media teams to rise to the challenge of reshaping the narrative, ensuring that citizens are well-informed about what the administration has achieved and continues to work toward.

Dalori reiterated the commitment of the APC-led government to the collective good of the nation, stressing that misinformation campaigns would not derail its vision. He called on stakeholders to support efforts aimed at national unity rather than promoting division.
