According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood star and politician Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her profound spiritual transformation, revealing how divine intervention delivered her from emotional turmoil and a life of sexual immorality.

The actress made the revelation on Tuesday evening in a heartfelt Instagram post titled “7 Things the Holy Spirit Healed Me From,” where she recounted her journey from pain and self-destruction to healing and peace through her renewed relationship with God.

Reflecting on her past, Dikeh admitted to struggling with uncontrollable anger that cost her friendships, opportunities, and inner peace. She also revealed that depression once consumed her so deeply that she contemplated ending her life.

According to her, the turning point came when she fully surrendered to God, allowing the Holy Spirit to heal her brokenness and restore her sense of purpose. Dikeh explained that although she gave her life to Christ after secondary school, she later drifted away until life’s challenges drew her back to her faith—a decision she described as the most rewarding of her life.

The mother of one further shared that God delivered her from sexual immorality and taught her the value of celibacy, emphasizing that she now views intimacy as sacred and guided by love and divine purpose rather than fleeting desire.

She also revealed that her renewed faith brought about unexpected miracles, including a reconciliation with her sister after 45 years apart. Dikeh expressed deep gratitude for the peace she now enjoys, adding that she fiercely guards her spiritual growth and avoids anything that threatens her inner calm.
